Founded in 1956 by Dan Pittman, Sr., ENCO Construction is a family-owned business now managed by his son Dan McKinnon Pittman, Jr., president, and Sidney Goocher, vice-president. Along with the rest of the ENCO team, they offer more than 100 years of combined experience in the commercial and residential construction industry and are here to provide you with professional and dedicated service.

Dan McKinnon Pittman, Jr.

President

Known to friends and family as Kinn, Dan McKinnon Pittman, Jr. began his career at ENCO in 1975 after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Auburn University. Since then he has supervised and coordinated countless construction projects, served as a Project Manager and Vice President, and has overseen the building of grocery stores like Winn-Dixie, Bruno’s, and Food World in four states. Since 1983, he has served as the company’s President, striving to uphold the tradition of quality work and excellent service begun by his father in the 1950s.

Sidney Hall Goocher

Vice President

As Vice President of ENCO Construction, Sidney Goocher oversees all aspects of project management, including budget analysis, scheduling, construction supervision, and communication with owners and architects. A former project engineer and quality control manager at Georgia-Pacific Corporation, he brings a strong background in project engineering to the ENCO team. He also has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University.

Cheryl Harbuck

General Manager

Since 1997, Cheryl Harbuck has been responsible for managing the daily business operations of ENCO Construction. With over 25 years of office and accounting experience, she has obtained the administrative skills necessary to keep the business operations running smoothly while emphasizing a strong customer focus.
